Shopping:
Wynn Dixie supermarket and liquor store is 3 miles away, located at the corner of Salerno Rd, and Federal Hwy (US 1). It’s an easy bicycle ride. Bicycle riders on the sidewalk are the norm. Directions: Turn left out the Mariner Cay gate on to St. Lucie Blvd to A1A (Dixie Hwy). Turn left to Salerno Rd.  Turn right (west) towards US 1—Wynn Dixie is about 2 miles on left side.

Side trip: instead of turning right at Salerno road and US 1, turn left. This will take you to the heart of Manatee Pocket water-side restaurant district. Further down and to the left is Pirates Cove Resort and restaurant. You will pass the commercial fishing fleet–make sure you stop and walk the docks. All these restaurants can be reached by dinghy from Mariner Cay marina. A dinghy dock is located between Pirates Cove and the commercial fishing fleet for transient boaters, a 1/4 mile from the restaurants.

Transportation:

Enterprise will bring a rental car to Mariner Cay Marina (772-287-7730). You will need to contact the guard station (772-283-6604) and notify them to allow a rental car on the property.  Passes for marina guests are available from the guard house.

Community Coach: 772-283-1814
Community Coach, a service of the Council on Aging of Martin County, is the public transportation service for Martin County as designated by the Martin County Board of County Commissioners. Community Coach provides a curb-to-curb, advance reservation, shared ride transportation service and also operates fixed-route services in Indiantown and Stuart Our hours of operation are  7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Community Coach is available to all Martin County residents for a fare of $ 1.50 per trip. Our services are used primarily by the transportation disadvantaged - those who are unable to drive or who do not have access to their own transportation - including senior citizens, the disabled and those meeting Medicaid eligibility requirements.
